Hi Everyone

My name is Shendl and I have been involved with our local zoo for the last 15 years as a volunteer and fundraising committee member.
My latest project is a new design for a marmoset enclosure - the ones we have are very old and not well suited to marmosets... any ideas on where I can look for plans to start with?:)

Thanks - printed them out to have a look. Do you know of anything on a smaller scale as we are not putting lots of marmosets in the new cages.

hi guys!

we are also looking for ideas for our lemur outdoor enclosure ( lemur and capuchin and marmoset). we have two at present but are looking to rescue more from the pet trade. we have looked at the island enclosures but that will not work for us here. our long term goal is to become the only primate rescue centre in ireland but we have a long way to go. any advice or contacts you may have would be greatly appreciated as there is so much red tape to get through! we have a long road ahead of us.

@ Shendl - It will be very nice having someone give us updates from South Africa (a country I hope to visit some day).
 
OK!! The Project that we are going to be taking on this year is a Lorikeet Aviary - interactive walkthrough... I would like to make this our 2nd themed enclosure - and am having difficulty coming up a set idea to produce at our meeting. Australian is my first idea?
Any help - how do I put this across?
 
Hi Chlidonias - we have moved the marmosets to an unused enclosure for the time being - the aviary is going to be our first themed project and then hopefully the marmoset area will be next.... its going to be very exciting!!
