Hello there! My name is Matthias and I’m from Ghent, Belgium. I’m 29 years old and I absolutely love animals and I also got a big interest in zoos and wildlife. Ever since I was a child we almost went every year to Zoo Antwerp, I don’t know exactly how many times we went there. I also had lots of pets. Dogs, rabbits, red-bellied sliders, fish, several birds, a horse, a ball python, leopard geckos, a bearded dragon, … too much to mention actually. Today I still got 2 Swiss White Shepherd dogs, a leopard gecko, a bearded dragon and a horse. My favorite zoo is Pairi Daiza. In my opinion one of the best zoos around in Europe. Last year I visited Bellewaerde, Grotten van Han, Pairi Daiza, Zoo Antwerp and Zoo Dortmund. So I guess that’s going to be it. Looking forward to having a great time here.
