Hello all
I hope to be posting here quite a bit. I am currently writing a book about the belle vue zoological gardens/ circus.
However I also have a keen interest in cetacean captivity and wild studies be it at home or internationally. I am UK based and open to speak about all subjects relating to the history of regulations, keeper interactions, health and safety procedures etc...
As well as professional research I am also a keen animal lover and experienced domestic cat breeder.

Welcome to ZooChat. Although I never visited Belle Vue I am very interested in its history and try to obtain copies of any books written about it. As someone whose early childhood was spent making frequent visits to Flamingo Park in the 1960s I can say "I was there" for some of the landmarks of British cetacean keeping.
 
I'm more than happy to assist you with the topic of Cetacean Captivity should you need any! I'm also UK based and just started on Zoochat, so welcome :-)
