My name is Chris and I am the trustee of a charity called LION AID.
Our charity exists to highlight the fact that the African Lion is facing extinction in the wild. In the 1960's there were in excess of 200,000. We are now down to under 20,000 lions, a loss of over 90% in just 50 years.
We would like to share with you some of the blogs we write and would really welcome your feedback on the topics we raise.

Sharing the blogs be nice ....!!!

Allthough, to put it plainly in Kenya alone there has been a discernable decline in wildlife inside and outside protected areas of all common species by 40-65% in the last 25 years. So, it ain't just lions .... :mad:

Sadly, your welcome does not extend to one of your moderators.

I have had one of my posts removed as spam. As it happens, that topic is one I have posted on other forums where the issues raised have been taken very seriously and some excellent discussions have ensued. In fact we have been complimented for highlighting important issues for the African Lion.
That subject is one we are discussing with members of the UK Parliament and we will continue to discuss with them ways in which UK plc can extend its influence to help African lions.

I emailed your moderator several days ago to ask what the problem was but I have not received any reply.

So, I am sorry to say that there seems little point in posting any further articles on this forum if they are going to be removed but rest assured, LION AID will continue to fight against the extinction of the African Lion and all our blogs can be viewed on our own website.

Thank you Goretex. I would love to share our news and articles with you all.
We are working very hard to raise the awareness of what is happening right now to the African lion and to ask for the support of the general public and of the UK Government, in order to prevent this magnificent species sliding into extinction. Kenya have just estimated that lions may be extinct there in as few as 6 years if nothing is done to stop the killing. Unfortunately, our articles would be removed if I posted them on this forum according to your moderator.
All of our articles are available to read on our website.
Your support and concern is much appreciated!
