Even though we have now been on here a few months we are still new to all this and we met a group of major zoo enthusiasts on the 16th july and it was a fantastic day...
We love visiting Chester zoo and do so probably once or twice a month... we also try and visit zoos and things when we travel on holidays and so last year we visited berlin where we went to tiergarten and zoo berlin and we are visiting those again in two weeks.
Also we usually visit London zoo at least once a year... usually at new year...although it can be extremely cold... i got my hand stuck to the gorilla statue there!! oh and my jeans when i sat on it to take a picture lol.
We visited Las Aquilas in Tenerife this year but i do not think this is a very impressive place as enclosures are small and the animals have little or no exercise/natural instinct?
We have also been to Loro Parque in tenerife this easter and hopefully looking at going to south africa next year and travelling through Kruger National Park... maybe even getting married there..?
If any one can recommend good places to go that is easily accessible by public transport as neither of us drives and has more than just a zoo please recommend...!
I love history and visiting places and taking pictures and of course love seeing the zoos and den loves walking... so any where will be considered...!
Hopefully hear from you all soon
