Hey hey!!

I'm a portuguese conservation msc. student, I'm doing my thesis on ex-situ conservation. My interest on this area raised by going to the summer activities at the Lisbon Zoo since I was 5 years old, and more recently (2015) I have done an interrail visiting zoos and natural history museums around Europe.

I joined mostly because I need some help of the zoo community for my thesis but anything I can awnser and that I find that would be interesting to share here I will!

Basically I need to know if some species are at European zoos and what is being done by those zoos to their conservation - not only ex-situ but in-situ as well. And with the sharing of experiences and by the photos shared I can have a base on it.
