I'm an older zoo-enthousiast (1947). Visit my first zoo in 1957, was Noorder Dierenpark Emmen with school. However we had less time for recreation while we were bookseller with 2 shops visited since then about 160 different zoos/aquariums e.d. in over 500 times. My nearest zoo is AquaZoo Friesland, Leeuwarden about 1/2 hour drive from here. Also collecter from Zoo-guides ( 1250), Maps, Postcards (more then 5000) and books. Interested in Zoohistory, todays zoos and the future of zoos.
