I'm so glad I found this place. I'm a student right now working on a thesis about the London Zoo and state intervention in England from 1919-1939, and I've really become obsessed with the Zoological Society of London, especially under Peter Chalmers Mitchell and Julian Huxley's secretaryship. It's really great to be among like-minded individuals. I have a lot of material I'd like to share, especially scans of the ZSL's Zoo magazine. Looking forward to talking to you all!!

Since you're seriously interested in the history of the Zoological Society of London, you should consider joining the Bartlett Society, an organisation devoted to zoo history
