help me choose my day out.

Ive been to Noahs Ark twice, once in its early days and then again about 4 years ago for the purposes of accurate reportage when i wrote the "IZES Guide to British Zoos".It had improved,of that there is no doubt, and its a free country i suppose[re.their religous theory],BUT they are not honest about espousing their controversial beliefs BEFORE you pay your money, much of what has been spent on those beliefs could have been spent on better animal housing and there is little doubt that they market themseves against Bristol Zoo.One day the zoo at Hollywood WILL appear[one day,one day,]and Noahs Ark will have to stop its catchpenny boasts about "big animals".

Wow! Dudley "fantastic" eh? Phew..ive been going there off and on for nearly forty years and much as i like the place its never been" fantastic"-one wonders if bazzoobuilder has ever been to look at zoos outside of this sceptered isle.He might get quite a shock. And in visiting nearly 600 zoos around the world i got the faint impression that they were all very different from one another irrespective of the different taxa within them all. With all due respect what a bizarre point of view. And to others..support Noahs Ark if you must but the place represents a quite scandalous non-evolutionary ethos and blatant competition to a 141-year old scientifically-based neighbour just down the road...i wouldnt go in there if you paid me a hundred pounds.

:( Unfortunately I haven’t been so lucky as to have visited what could be described as THE world class top ten biggest and best zoos.
(Whichever they are)
My holiday budget just doesn’t take me that far. I have been to several in and around Europe. All for me had their own appeal in some way or other. I remember liking Berlin & Lisbon, (but Lisbon was all about the dolphins) I have seen some sad sights in what could otherwise be described as good zoos and there was one zoo I went to I think somewhere in Poland that was just bad all over. but...
In my opinion (all be it of little interest to many) almost all zoo’s do a fantastic job of connecting people with the rest of life on earth, that is far more real and longer lasting than the best TV or Magazines can offer. Australia and America we ant but English zoo’s do a good job.
I see nothing wrong with using the word fantastic (in its informal term) to describe Dudley and many other UK zoos.:)
