I am planning a visit shortly after the let down of species at Slimbridge, I am hoping for better luck at Martin Mere WWT.

I would be very grateful if I could get a list of current species on show please.

Please don't say look on ZTL as I did with Slimbridge, only to find the list was way off what was actually at the collection.

Have there been any new changes since 2020 as this was the last time I visited?

I was at Slimbridge back in January and due to avian flu species which I had been hoping to see were either shut away or I somehow missed seeing them such as the Andean & James's flamingo. I can however give you the list of captive species in which I saw when I visited:

Alpine newt
Great crested newt
Golden poison frog
Golden mantella

Amazon leaf frog
Yellow-bellied toad

Fish:
Lemon cichlid

Birds:

Lesser scaup
Greater scaup
Common goldeneye
Barrow's goldeneye

Dark-bellied brent goose

I may have forgotten some

Sorry, yes, you already told me in your p.m. From the list of what they have, I'd be interested in any photos you can get of any of the Sheldgeese family; they are listed with; Andean/Cereopsis/Ruddy/Ashy-headed. Also Magpie Goose.

As you all know I am visiting Martin Mere WWT on the 04th I do have a few things I have to note on my way round.
I will also be visiting the hides and will put on here a list of species seen from each hide so forgive me if the same species appear more than once.
If you'd like I will put my photographs in the Martin Mere gallery or do you want me to put them in the UK wild gallery?

I'd also enjoy the answer to this as I worry a bit now that I have been doing it wrong - I have put wild birds seen at WWT in the wild gallery and WWT captive ones in the WWT one.

Although people often put photos of wild birds into zoo galleries (because they were photographed on the zoo grounds), they should be placed in the relevant Wildlife gallery.
