I'm visiting tomorrow so I should be able to get some photos.
I did but there not that great and also I'm trying to upload my photos on my phone to my laptop and that's taking quite a while but the actual exhibit is basically a oval shaped exhibit with mud in there and a house of to the side and that's basically it.
could just be a temporary enclosure but who really knows oh and by the way there's an updated map on their website with the enclosure shape on it

Just visited Hemsley today. It was even better than my first visit! I managed to see pretty much anything including the new Tapir in its exhibit which I'll post a photo of in the gallery. I didn't manage to see the baby Porcupine unfortunately.
Some updates:
- Both Asian Palm Civets unfortunately passed away during lockdown. Their area will be redeveloped to house Kinkajous and the new Tayra exhibit.
- The current Tayra exhibit will be extended to make more room for the Maned Wolves.
- The Lemur exhibit is going to be extended to create a walk-through.
- The Tapir exhibit isn't massive, but it isn't awful. There's a small pool and the general shape of it is ok.
- The Channel-Billed Toucan is now in the old Amazon Parrot exhibit. The Parrot moved to Battersea to join more of its own kind. The Toucan's old area will be redeveloped into an area for tortoises.
I got plenty of great close up views of the four Maned Wolves whilst doing an experience and feeding them chicks. I also managed to see the Echidna really close up because a keeper was about to weigh it and gave us a privileged view of it. I will upload photos later. Really happy with the experience. Would definitely recommend a visit!

A male ground cuscus has recently arrived from Hamerton, to join the female already present at Hemsley.

My only concern is that Hemsley is a small,rather confined collection,with sheds for animal housing on my last visit,but it seems they are doing quite well and looked after and thats great news. Sure hope theres expansion if they are going to bring in new species to a small spaced zoo..? Coping better than Hanwell?

A Prehensile-tailed Porcupine was born on Christmas day: Log into Facebook | Facebook
Made my first trip to Hemsley today, and was lucky to see most of the species displayed.
The baby prehensile tailed porcupine was fast asleep on both occasions I checked in, I believe it and it’s mother currently have the right hand side of the two adjoining enclosures to themselves at the moment, as I saw no sign of the night monkeys in there with them (though I may be wrong).
I was lucky enough to finally see my first Echidna, one of the zookeepers had to take an off-show female out to be weighed and was kind enough to come and find us beforehand.
The young male Ocelot was very showy towards the end of the day, the new exhibit was similar to the basic design format of the other small mammal enclosures throughout the zoo as you might expect.
Unfortunately I wasn’t able to see the Kinkajou, but a keeper mentioned to me that they plan to extend the enclosure to include a large tree to the left of it, which I think would have the potential to make a great display in the future.

I believe 3 females departed ZSL London
Three rusty-spotted cat kittens have been born at Hemsley Conservation Centre.

A male capybara called Mike has recently arrived at Hemsley Conservation Centre from Knowsley Safari Park. He is sharing an enclosure with the lowland tapir. The post also mentions that he will soon be joined by 'another friend' - not sure if that is another capybara or a different animal.

A male Southern aardwolf will be going on display at Hemsley Conservation Centre this weekend (28th May) - he arrived at the park in February.

The centre's updated website has included a news article about the aardwolf. Although there are no details about where it came from, the article does say that Hemsley hope to welcome another aardwolf to the centre in the not too distant future.
