2 female African Wild Dogs escape from temporary enclosure:

They recently arrived to the Henson Robinson Zoo and were placed in a temporary enclosure. They escaped through a weak link in their habitat's perimeter fence. They suffered no injuries and were easily recaptured.

On June 24th, it was reported that on Sunday, June 27th, the zoo will officially unveil their renovated exhibit for their spider monkeys.

One of our females (wallabies) has a baby in the pouch right now so we're actually hoping the little guy will pop its head out in a month or so,” Hotle said.

“Plus we’re redoing the old otter exhibit and taking down one of our old wooden lemur buildings to put in a brand new one and that's a $800,000 project that we’re working on.

Does anyone know what species this zoo currently holds? Are the langurs back out? Do they still have blue-eyed black lemurs? I am considering making it a stop on a planned road trip and want to plan accordingly, and beyond "the one with the wolverine"

Visited today and will work on a species list and review for this charming facility soon. Olive was a delight!!

The langurs remain off display and construction is ongoing. The arctic fox and binturong are also off display. The fox holding and langur construction were damaged in a storm.
