Hey everyone!
My names Erica and I’m from Australia! My partner and I try and visit zoos and wildlife parks as often as we can and he once volunteered at one of the zoos for 2 years as a tour guide, which he loved!
I look forward to sharing my point of view as a disabled zoo visitor as it’s actually a completely different experience being in a wheelchair at a zoo, and some zoos just aren’t fully accessible for those with wheels or health limitations to which I hope to bring awareness to!
My major interests are reptiles, sea creatures and anything related to or resembling a cat or dog! I absolutely love aquariums but unfortunately we don’t have any where we live! Occasionally we travel interstate and visit other zoos and aquariums but that is quite rare unfortunately.
A passion of mine and my partners is photography so we really look forward sharing all our beautiful images with everyone! So glad we found somewhere we can share our love for animals with, and hopefully bring more awareness to accessibility in zoos!
