Hi...

I'm Astrid-Helen and I come from the beutiful contry NORWAY...(anyone else her from Norway?)

I have loved animals since...well for ever...
my favorit is PANDA...and I have over 300 (not alive) in my collection.

I also lost my heart to Africa when I was there and worked in 1999...(Guinea, south africa and Madagascar)

I have 2 boys (age 2 and 5) and my oldest has told me he wants to work in a zoo when gets old. he has loved animals since he was able to know what an animal is. We was in the zoo in Kristiansand last year and he just fall in love with the place...he can't wait to go back
 
Hi Astrid welcome aboard, not many zoos in Norway, only Kristiansland zoo which i think is near Oslo, they have an Amur tiger bred at Edinburgh, and i believe there is an aquarium in Bergen too, do you have any info on these collections?

There are two zoos in Norway: Kristiansand (as you said) but it's far from Oslo...Its in the south next to the town Kristiansand...
They just got Lions there last year...and they are known for having red pandas..

the other is PolarZoo...its north in norway..they are great with wolfs

I live not so far from the Aquarium in Bergen...Lives outside of the town...
Now they have got crocs there...I will try to get more info of the places...
(going soon tho the Aquarium)
