My name is Luuk, I'm 20 and I'm from the lovely Netherlands. As a kid I had two hobbies, drawing and animals, therefore I really loved visiting zoo's. My parents took my everywhere (actually it was me bagging them to go
) , especially my "home town zoo"; Burger's Zoo (although all Dutch zoo's could be referred to as "home town zoo" cause after all, the Netherlands aren't that big). When I became older I lost my interest in zoo's, stopped visiting them. Lately my interest started to grow and I started looking up the omniscient internet to still my hunger for my ever-growing hunt for information. So via a Dutch site I ended up here. Immediately I was caught by the enormous gallery, really loved it right away and after browsing for a month or so I finally decided to register myself.
And I got a question for you fellow animal fanatics right away; is there a channel on youtube, whether it belongs to a zoo or another institute, with videos shot behind the scenes, I would love to get more insight on how a zoo functions on day-to-day bases
