Rehousing dingo
Hi,
Yeah I am on Fraser Island at the moment (thanks Ben), but occassionally get internet access.
Its a shame that your circumstances have changed and you cannot continue to look after your dingo. Lyn at the dingo discovery centre (just google) would be a great person to speak with about rehousing ideas, but as Roy is desexed she wouldnt be able to keep him with her dingoes.
Just note that it is certainly not ideal for a dingo to be moved away from their 'territory' and owners who are bonded with them. it can be very stressful
I wish you all the best in finding a new home for Roy, but make sure you are certain that it will be suitable for him, else it may be best for him if other options are explored.
Im sorry i dont know of anywhere/anyone who could take him (i wish i could), but if you are sure he is pure, then you might want to try private wildlife parks. seeing as though he is socialised and desexed (and if pure), would be a great addition to their collection. there is a thread that i started asking about parks which hold dingoes around Australia, that might be a good place to start.
Best of Luck
