I've lurked for a while but I've finally come out of hiding!
I've loved animals since I was a kid but it's only been in the past few years that I've started really getting into zoo/aquarium visits and learning about the happenings at the zoo (ie "That animal's name is such and such and it was traded to this zoo from that zoo" versus "Oh cool, a new animal." )I live in Long Beach, CA and I'm a regular at the Aquarium of the Pacific (3 times in two weeks is my record). My boyfriend and I try to make it to the Los Angeles zoo once a year (April 2012 was our last visit). We go to the San Diego zoo every year on Christmas and the San Diego Zoo Safari Park every year for my birthday in June.
Away from zoos, aquariums, and animals I'm a fan of Indycar, I collect vintage toys (vintage littlest pet shop being my favorite), I love reading, writing and scrapbooking... and I love all things geeky. I'm also a history buff.
