I found this forum via a Google alert for Australian Wildlife, we have a unique eco spa retreat set in a 100ac predator free natural bushland near Margaret River in WA.
Our website is Yelverton Brook

All of our conservation work is self funded by our guests.
We have been breeding Woylies for about 4 years now, they are going really well now. Breeding started from stock from Perth Zoo and 1 x female from CALM/DEC.

Our Blog has more details.
We offer a safe predator free home for endangered wildlife eg- rehabilitated Western Ringtailed Possums.
We have been finally fox and cat free for one year........yipee!
Now the wildlife can just get on with business in peace.

Wish list to re-introduce next - Echidna, Brushtailed Wallabies, Quokkas.
Look forward to hearing from you, regards Joy Ensor

Nice to hear what people can do for our animals. Hi.

Your not Sebbe67 are you.

Perth Zoo

Welcome to the forum Joy.

I used to live in Perth as a child and Perth Zoo remains one of my favourites. I am interested in the history of the place and am always on the look-out for old photos of enclosures, etc esp. from the 70s. They are obviously quite hard to find in the UK!!

I wonder if you, your family, friends or anyone you know has or has come by any old photographs you could scan or send (I would cover postage)? It dosn't matter if the photos are low quality, everything is useful. Any help you could provide in this regard would be extremely welcome but no problem if you can't.:):)

Cheers
