I'm Emma from Jersey in the Channel Islands. I started my interest in exotic species by doing two parts of my Project Trident at my local zoo, Durrell - as it's now known; back then it was called Jersey Zoo or the Jersey Wildlife Preservation Trust. I was fortunate to spend two weeks on work experience and six weeks of community service there, the last of which ended up being extended on and off for about 15 years (I had a huge shock recently when realising I did Project Trident back in 1993
).
My favourite animals are the Lion Tamarins of Brazil, closely followed by Ruffed Lemurs, Snow Leopards and Bottle-nosed Dolphins. Those may be my favourites but I'm fascinated by many other species.
