Zoo staff and police in Canada are in hot pursuit of two capybara missing in Toronto after they escaped from their enclosure overnight.
The rodents ram rank as a third capybara was being transferred into their pen at High Park Zoo, a zoo spokeswoman told the The National Post.
Police were notified of the escape shortly before 9am on Tuesday (local time).
"I haven't seen anything to indicate that there's anything untoward that's happened," Constable Craig Brister said.
The pair of rodents are thought to be hiding out in a park on the edge of Toronoto.
They have still not be spotted, but there are already two Twitter accounts dedicated to them.
The capybara is a semi-aquatic species from Central and South America. It is known as the world's largest rodent, weighing anywhere up to 70 kg by adulthood. They are not considered to be dangerous.
