Serengeti Park Hodenhagen safari park

From Zoo Halle African elephant female Bibi was moved to Hodenhagen where she will be placed in the herd of 2 males and 3 females.

I do hope the management and husbandry team at SP Serengeti in Hodenhagen will have hands on contact from the start in order to prevent any of the previous birthing episodes that ended tragically for both mother and calf.

I agree with you totally! Given the fact that she has successfully raised two calves before, I have full confidence in her mothering abilities, its just that first half hour or so after birth that she will likely need intensive management (four legs chained, staff in the birthing stall, etc...)

Now that Amur Tiger 'NIKOLAI' (aka HUMA from Lisbon) has moved to Bavaria, does Hodenhagen have plans to bring in a companion for his sister. I assume they renamed her as well?
