I once said a sentence about San Diego Zoo's Urban Jungle, it was something along the lines of, "Where else can I find animals from Africa, Asia, Australia and America in the same exhibit?"

It seems they took five years to find a female, only to have the male die, so now have a single female.
Indeed. I hadn't seen that before going, but knew Shaka had died recently. Thandie didn't look particularly sprightly to me; any idea how old she is?

When I visited they had quite a lot of genets in different cages with most if not all of them active, the zorilla is basically impossible (if sleeping) as it has a big bed of soil. There are also Virginia opossums and tailless tenrecI'll hopefully be visiting here soon (possibly along with WILD and the Exotic Zoo) and wondered if anyone had any tips on seeing the Arctic foxes, genets, zorillas and civets? And is there anything in particular that I'm missing that's quite special? Same goes for the other two collections as well. Thanks in advance.
