Toronto Zoo Horticulture help

I was wondering what others would think as I have an assignment I am not sure about:
Assume you have an area 70m long and 35m wideon a 2 degree slope that needs to be landscaped. Design, but do not sketch how you will plant it with lawn, trees, and if you so desire, shrubs and flowerbeds. List grass cultivars you will choose Justify the use of sod if you decide to use that. Tell how you would prepare the base for paths; if paths go through the area. Include the type of path material you would use, the kind of mulch you will use and a watering regime for the first growing season.
Specify the species of trees and shrubs you would select and suggest flowers appropriate for the flowerbeds.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

I was wondering what others would think, Kentucky blue grass with cultivars such as Adelphi, Banff or Baron. or a Creeping red fescue with cultivars such as Boreal, Dawson or Jasper. Or maybe a Kentucky blue grass-creeping red fescue mix with chewing's fescue as it blends well and requires less mowing, fertilizer and water.
I am not hoping for someone to do my homework, I was seeking some help (as in the title) and I am sorry I didn't mean to offend anyone.

It wasn't at all clear what you wanted or what your intentions with these posts were.

But here is some real help: In order to make the decisions you are trying to make you need first to consider the site, the soils, the water usage, where in the world this is located, how it is to be used, times of year that are most important, etc. From this information, your species selection will be easier.

I only had a couple minutes left online and should have been more clear as to what I was asking. I am doing an online horticulture for zoos course and was not sure if I am going in the right direction with this so I was looking for others opinions as this is all I have to go on. Thank you for your advise... very informative.

@animalgirl: I apologize if my response to your initial posts was shrill. There seem to be a lot of students prowling around here who don't want to do their own homework. I hope that your project goes well.

That's Ok, I can understand, I thought having some input would be better than none as I have no one to ask, I went down to the zoo but had little luck there as well. Thank you for your input and I hope the project goes well too.

If all the info they gave you is in the initial post, then this is a rather extensive question. Final exam?

Seems like the question is more interested in your thought process -- why you make the choices you make -- then the details of what you produce. Don't worry so much about choosing the "right" grass, just be clear in your thinking WHY you chose what you chose. In horticulture there often is no "right" answer, just your answer which, we trust, will be right

@David -- I had the same initial thoughts to the initial post. The edited version is more courteous and more deserving of a reply
