Closed How do I insert photos in Forum Threads?

I have written a report of my Europe Zoo Trip (in Open Office) that I would like to post. I know how to add photos as attachments, but that dumps them all together at the bottom. I cannot figure out how to embed them at various points in the text. I even tried embedding them into the Open Office Document itself, but they do not copy over - only the text shows up.

I have seen a couple other ZooChatters do Forum posts the way I want to do, so I know it can be done. Any computer experts out there who can help me?

I can't help you with the posting photo problem but I await your report eagerly. It's always nice to get an Americans view point on European collections.

If the photo is already on the gallery, one of the links should work for it. Try preview post before posting.

Yes, if the photo is in the gallery there are two boxes underneath the photo that give forum code you can copy and paste into the post:

I feel a bit of a fool now, I could've told him that but my mind went blank. I've even used that technique myself previously.

Much obliged for the tip. I guess I will have to post the photo layouts first and then use your advice. Will try to get to it later tonight.

OK it worked - you guys are great. I would NEVER have figured that one out. Only issue is that I tried to insert eight photo groupings and got a warning that the maximum is six. So I had to remove Edinburgh Zoo and Dover Castle to make it work. Still very handy tool to know how to use.

I can only add one pic per post from an iPad. Is this the limit for mobile devices and is 6 the limit for PCs and laptops?
