How do zoos protect their animals from snakes?
Specifically venomous or other snakes that will eat/harm animals in outdoor enclosures.

By removing the snakes from the zoo premises and constructional safety precautions.

Fowler dedicated a whole book to that issue. Camelids, horses and dogs were among the species most often affected by snake bite in the USA.
