Currently the closest zoological facility to me is Jakarta Aquarium, which is around 24 km from Tangerang where I lived. Unfortunately, Tangerang doesn't have any sort of zoological facility, so I never go out that much.

Franklin zoo in Tuakau used to be like 10-15 mins away until it closed in 2012, now Auckland zoos about 45 min to an hour away

I live in rural Northeast Alabama so within 150 miles I have the following. Chattanooga Zoo, Tennessee Aquarium, Birmingham Zoo, Zoo Atlanta, Georgia Aquarium, Montgomery Zoo, Ripley's Aquarium, Knoxville Zoo, and Nashville Zoo.

I have to consider myself lucky, I probably have 50 zoos within 2 hours of me
And me. :)

For reference my four local collections are the following distance from my home.
Dudley = 4.9 miles (Anywhere between an hour and two hours, depending on buses, 15-20 minutes by car.)
Birmingham Sea Life = 5.4 miles (Half hour by bus, about 15-20 minutes by car)
Birmingham Wildlife Conservation Park = 4 miles (25-30 minutes by bus, about 15 minutes by car)
WMSP = 16 miles (About 35-40 minutes by car)

2 hours to Dudley?! I live 120 miles from there and it only takes a few minutes more than that!

I live in Bradford, Yorkshire, so the closest would be Yorkshire Wildlife Park, excluding smaller zoos, which is about an hours drive away :)

I live 40 minutes away from the closest 'zoo', which is this interesting place called Aikman wildlife adventure, a drive through 'safari' sort of thing.
An hour away from both the Scovill and Miller park zoos, which are the nearest AZA zoos. Otherwise 2 hours to the nearest major zoo, Indianapolis, and 2-2.5 hours to the nearest aquarium, Shedd.

I live about 3 km from Berlin Zoo, if I had a car it would be possible to get there in ten munites, with U-Bahn or bike it's about 20. Berlin Tierpark is 13 km away, that takes me 45-50 minutes by public transport.

In terms of large zoos I am about in between Marwell (45 minute drive) and Cotswold Wildlife Park (1 hour drive). There are two smaller animal collections that are both about a 20 minute drive away.

I live 1h30 away (100 km) from Beauval Zoo, where I often go (at least when it isn't closed, as it's the case since November 2020).
There are (much) smaller animal collections more close to me : Aquarium de Touraine, Domaine du Ciran, Réserve de Beaumarchais, Parc Floral de la Source...

I live in the northern suburbs of Chicago. Lincoln Park Zoo is the closest. Depending on traffic, it usually takes a little over 30 minutes to get there.
