By a little zoo-trip which I made last month to the Czech Rep. I can add 3 more species on my personal list. 2 of them I could have seen before in the 1980s in the Dutch / Belgium bird-trade but can't remember for sure but now I am sure that I saw the White-eared brown-pigeon ( Phapitreron leucotis ) at Zoo Plzen :
and at Zoo Prague I could clearly observe the New Guinea bronzewing ( Henicophaps albifrons ) :
A third species I was able to see is for sure a Lifer for me because I'm sure that in the 1980s no ( or very few ) birds from Madagascar were avaible in the bird-trade. At Zoo Plzen I was however able to see a nice specimen of the Madagascar blue-pigeon ( Alectroenas madagascariensis ) :
So now my total species of Pigeons and doves seen is 124 :).

Came along this thread again and discovered I had forgotten a few more species I've seen. I'm quite sure I saw all 3 already in the 1980s in the European bird-trade but not 100 % sure so thats why I didn't put them on my first lists. In 2021 I saw them for sure at Plzen Zoo ( Czech Rep - together with @Jana - again many thanks for showing me this great zoo ! ).
The species are :
- Ruddy turtle dove - Streptopelia tranquebarica humilis
- Philippine metalic pigeon - Columba vitiensis griseogularis
- Red-bellied fruit dove - Ptilinopus greyi
This brings my total species seen and or kept for sure at 127 :).
