I have 23 Zoos/Aquariums under my belt. I'm not counting institutions I have visited that are no primarily zoos/aquariums and feature only a small animal collection (such as Busch Gardens Williamsburg).

*A few of these facilities are ones that I visited as a kid, long before I became a zoo enthusiast, and have yet to revisit. I do not have photos or memorabilia of these visits, so I have to go off of memory. No, I don't keep a species list although that would have been interesting since many species I saw in the 70s are not in collections now. I also count any institution with any colleection of wildlife, such as nature centers.

Outside of birds, I LOVE African bush elephants, and I would like to visit every zoo that keeps them and record the birds kept at those zoos.

Definitely on my itinerary is both the Dallas Zoo and Dallas World Aquarium (the latter because I have a soft spot for birds of the Neotropic, and they have the largest collection that I'm aware of in the United States).
