I will be in the New Orleans area from Sept 13th-15th and was wondering if anyone here on ZooChat has connections with anyone from the Audubon Species Survival Center. I really want to see their Milky Storks. Of the four species of Mycteria, they're the only species I have left to see. If they were still at the zoo no problem, but since they're now only kept at the Species Survival Center, (I think they moved the ones from the zoo to the SSC in 2012) I would very much like to see them if at all possible. I know that the facility does tours and that this year's annual AZA Annual Conference meetings will be hosted by Audubon Zoo and Audubon Aquarium of the Americas where they will be giving tours of the facility.

I'm posting this now so I have time to hear back from anyone if they can help me. It would be very much appreciated! Thank you.
