Howletts have just launched an annual ticket which is the same price as a single entry ticket:

Does that get you in both parks? It's not clear from the website.

I think it's just Howletts; the Port Lympne annual pass is about three times the price:

Didn't realise more recent news hadn't been posted. Port Lympne now has the same scheme, with an annual pass ('Passport') available for a similar price to an adult ticket. An upgrade is available to a 'Gold Card', which allows access to both zoos.

If you buy a passport but wish to upgrade on a future visit to either park, the remaining months on your annual pass are deducted from the cost of a Gold Card.

I bought a Howletts Passport but then visited PL a few months later. I was given a discounted Gold Card at PL.

It's a bit complex but should make some sense.
