Indian Mouse Deer
The researchers at LaCONES collaborated with the conservation experts in Nehru Zoological Park for conservation breeding and reintroduction of Indian Mouse Deer in Telangana. The captive mouse deer population by the end of October 2019 increased to 173 animals. The release of the mouse deer was done in Amrabad tiger reserve, Kinnerasani wildlife sanctuary and Mrugavani National Park.

Last Birth of an Indian Rhino at Hyderabad Zoo was in May 1981....
Their breeding pair is Suraj x Saraswati, who were both born and bred at Patna Zoo. Bull and cow are half siblings and share their sire (cows are from different bloodlines.
Was this an intentional breeding? Why would they breed two half-siblings?

In August the zoo recieved a shipment of confiscated baby Indian tent and Indian roofed turtles. Now the 266 animals were send by plain to Lucknow were they aretaken care for by the Uttar Pradesh Forest Department and the TurtleSurvival Alliance :

On November 23rd, it was reported that a 31-year-old man climbed into the lion enclosure (specifically on the rocks surrounding the moat) as was going to jump inside before being stopped by 2 keepers. He has now been arrested and it is unknown how he got into said exhibit.
