One wonders whether this is a different individual to the one I saw at the Weyhill Hawk Conservancy in April, or the same one; if the latter it has *really* done the rounds - it was at Kielder Bird of Prey for some time, then went to Kirkleatham Owl Centre about a year ago before being sent to Weyhill in January 2015![]()
i wonder if the 2020 export to Bulgaria (Green Balkans) with 11 birds of prey - 5 lesser kestrels, 3 griffon vultures, 2 Egyptian vultures and 1 saker falcon was a sign of the times. All the more interesting how ICBP will move forward on "conservation issues", and if captive-breeding is even part of that?Unexpected news, the ICBP's homepage states the Newent site is to close. All is not lost however as they will be moving elsewhere, but details are lacking.
