Wild dogs, SP Lions, elephants have been done, I've already got spider monkeys on the schedule, I might do the other ones although the otters, meerkats and flamingoes will have a lot of contestants. Some suggestions (not sure if they've been done):
African wild dog
Bactrian camel
Meerkat
Spider monkey
Flamingo
Asian short clawed otter
Lion (safari parks)
Elephant (safari parks)
Tiger (safari parks)
I think I'd do them separate-there's at least 200 holders of meerkats in the UK. Maybe I'll do them as two separate threads, then do a final with the exhibits that got votes.Meerkats could be extended to mongoose in general (yellow, dwarf, banded, multiple sub species etc) as there are some nice exhibits around.

Just do main zoos rather than random farms by the motorwayI think I'd do them separate-there's at least 200 holders of meerkats in the UK. Maybe I'll do them as two separate threads, then do a final with the exhibits that got votes.
Maned wolf poll was recently done! I think bush dogs were done in the original polls a couple of years back.Maned Wolves
Lorikeeks wouldn't be too bad.Maned Wolves
Bush Dogs
Foxes
Macaws
Lorikeets
Seconding various animal houses too

interesting, might put that downLeaf cutter ants?
Looking at this now, a certain collection might be on this poll quite a lotCrocodillians, more Hoofstock
I am assuming you mean Gharial, which no UK zoo holds at the moment. Four hold False Gharial, also known as Tomistoma, but since Paignton’s are off-display at the moment there won’t be that much competition here. If you want to do a crocodilian poll, alligators might be good?Gahriel maybe?
Binturongs and giraffes have already been done, but the others might be interesting. Revisiting old polls could be interesting if the rumours of a fourth Polar Bear holder comes to fruition, which, along with the new arrivals at Peak WP, would mean the number of holders of the species in the UK have doubled since the last poll.Camelids
Ratites
Armadillos
Binturong
Multiple animal houses of various sorts (Aquaria/ callitrichids/nocturnal etc)
Small rodents (a brave one to take on seeing as the range is so vast, but I challenge you!)
Or even braver….particularly well displayed domestic stock
Or groups of animals…marsupials/ lesser seen mustelidae/ all species of porcupine etc.
Might be good to challenge some of the larger zoos by shining a light on things that smaller places do better at.
Or consider reopening a few species that have had a few newer developments made.
Has there been a giraffe one? An animal that usually is done an injustice in zoos.
What’s the future polar bear holder?I am assuming you mean Gharial, which no UK zoo holds at the moment.
