Hardy a surprising find. I think one of the best ways to conserve wildlife would be to turn many of our developed areas into corridors, by planting native plants and doing other things like that.

That is definitely a good idea. Another solution that I think would be quite helpful is transitioning much of our agriculture from multi-acre parcels of land to vertical agriculture and then doing habitat restoration projects on the former parcels of farmland.
