It'd make sense but some are harder to move than others giraffes being a key example.Does anyone think that animals will be relocated to match their ''biomes'' with the plan for the 3 zones?
My most recent ideas were moving some species based on those principles, what do you think about them? It'd make sense but some are harder to move than others giraffes being a key example.
Yea some of them were a bit silly and for a bit of fun. Where do you think the mongoose should be?I'll be honest they're not my favourite I believe the mongoose should move but everything else should stay how it is.
Why not convert the really old porcupine house into it and cut into the old kudu exhibit to form a new outdoor area for themYea some of them were a bit silly and for a bit of fun. Where do you think the mongoose should be?
Which porcupine house? Why not convert the really old porcupine house into it and cut into the old kudu exhibit to form a new outdoor area for them
The one between the old kudu enclosure and the roan antelope.Which porcupine house?
I would really like to see a new parrot house in the future or making more of the RPBC on show. Also, Chester had plans for Dugongs?? That's new to me!Think he means where the aardvarks are.
This thread has go tme reminiscing about my teenage years and my plans for Chrester Zoo, all I can remember is an enclosed and heated swimming pool where the sealions (giant otters now) was, for a breeding group of dugongs; and a parrot house for every Amazon parrot species on the car park (where Cedar house is)
Chester had plans for Dugongs?? That's new to me!
Oh I just misread that completley. I should have known they were your own ideas in this thread! They didn't. It was in my fantasy zoo![]()

Rare Parrot Breeding CentreWhat does RPBC stand for?
Are people really that ignorant to call them leopards? Do we need a huge sign saying jaguars? I bet that still would not work! How possible do you think it would be for the zoo to redevelop the savannah side of SOTJ to house African or Amur leopard. I think it would be good to show the difference between them as I still commonly hear people Callling napo and goshi leopards. I also think it would be brilliant if Chester brought in another bear species, maybe polar or brown the enclosure could be built on the site of the giraffe house and paddock and the giraffe could be moved to the zebra and roan antelope enclosure creating one large reserve whilst carrying on the zone/continent layout with the painted dogs
