I'm selling lots of wildlife books

I'm selling a large number of wildlife books on eBay in an attempt to de-clutter my life and raise some cash to go towards my Eurovision adventure this year.

My books on eBay

There are guides to European, African, Indian, Australian and Chinese wildlife, reference books, quite a few books about pandas and owls and more.

I've started them all at 99p so you will probably be able to pick up a bargain or two.

I ship worldwide and am happy to combine postage for multiple items.

If anyone has any questions about any of the books, just let me know.

there's some nice books there! If I had a home I would definitely bid on a couple of those.

Somebody likes Pandas!

:p

Great collection of books - Ive read several of those.
I've got one of them in my pack right now! (Had to buy it full price though -- you couldn't have decided to sell all these six months ago could you Shirokuma!! :p)

Haha! Sorry about the bad timing.

I have added some more and will continue to do so.

There are now some zoo books including books on Potter Park Zoo, Lincoln Park Zoo, St Louis Zoo and some others.

More to come include books on the Bronx Zoo and San Diego Zoo.

I'm really hope they will go to a good home, it's been a tough choice deciding which ones to keep!

(Could have sworn I already wrote this post, but it seems not)

The mammals of China one? I'm sorely tempted by that one myself :)

that is the very one. It looks really good but it is rather rubbish really. The pictures often look not even remotely like the animal they are supposed to depict, and only a small percentage of species are actually illustrated. To identify something you don't know you have to use the written descriptions and range maps. But the range maps show distribution before human-induced reductions, i.e. "original ranges" which is not necessarily helpful!

Still, the only book there is and worth having just for that. Especially if you can get it as a bargain. And it's not as bad as the MacKinnon bird field guide for China!! That one really sucks to use!

Responding to 'popular demand' I've added buy now options for most items. I'll be adding more books so keep an eye on it.

I've relisted some books and am adding more

My books on eBay

One which may be of particular interest is a large format coffee table style book about San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Park from 1983.

A World of Animals: San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Park

I'm also going to add books on Denver Zoo, the Bronx Zoo and Brookfield Zoo.

One of the reasons for my de-clutter is that I'm going to focus on collecting books about European and Australasian zoos only so I am selling my American books.

As always, if anyone has any questions just let me know.

I have relisted and added more books:

That is a great list of books. It is a pity that I already own about 20 of the 25 that you have for sell, but others might well be fascinated by what is on offer. Buy Shirokuma's books and you will not be disappointed! "Zoo Story" is highly entertaining, "America's Best Zoos" and "The Year of the Gorilla" are must-owns, and "Sailing with Noah" is another highlight from the director of the Saint Louis Zoo.

I spent this evening adding a large number of books, most starting at 99p so have a look and pick up a bargain!
