Hey all. I was alerted to this site by a good friend and I must say that having been previously disappointed in my search for a zoology forum, this is very good indeed.

I'm a second-year zoology with conservation student, studying at the University of Wales, Bangor. Next year is my third year and I'm hoping to do a dissertation involving black ruffed lemurs (Varecia variegata variegata). I'm extremely interested in prosimians and nocturnal primates but I'm not limited and love birds, bugs, fish, ungulates... just about anything and everything.

So... hi. :D

Hi all.

Writhedhornbill: I don't have a particular focus with regards to birds to be honest. I'm equally enthralled with passerines, raptors, sea birds... I greatly enjoy bird watching and get a great thrill out of correctly identifying species (but then that applies to any taxa really) and harbour an ambition to ID species by song.

There's little in zoology I don't find interesting.
