Another introduced species I had not heard of - the European common blue butterfly
Polyommatus icarus has, since 2005, been recorded in Canada. They could become widespread across Canada as their native European foodplant, the bird's-foot trefoil, was introduced to North America in the mid-1700s and can now be found in every Canadian province.
