Is this where we talk about zoo eateries?

Well, I was just informed today that the 'Zoo Cafe' was NOT a forum to discuss the eating facilities at zoos, so I decided to check it out. :D

Hello!

The mystery of where Baldur went is solved!

now you just have to make sure you re-organise your busy schedule to make more free time for all the new Zoochat forums you'll be visiting!

Too true! I always wondered how some of the forumites' post-counts were so high: now I understand. :D

have a look at this: ZooChat User Statistics

The users with the most posts are not necessarily the users with the highest post rates....

Further to this, I just added a new chart to the stats - just below the "Users with the highest post rates".

This new chart is called "Users with the highest post rates (last 30 days)" and only counts posts made within the past 30 days.

This shows people who are currently posting a lot, rather than people who have posted a lot on average over the entire time they have been a member, like the previous chart does.

holy moly, I had no idea I was posting that much! Hopefully it wasn't all nonsense :D

"post rate": the rate at one posts.

(i.e. how many posts a person makes over a given length of time)

I would get out more, but there's nothing else to do in Hokitika....

You complain when you have a sock machine museum? [ame=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hokitika]Hokitika - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/ame]

Northampton has a shoe museum. Eat your heart out...;)

At least the Sock Machine Museum lets you make your own socks. Does the Shoe Museum let you make your own shoes?

:p :p :p

Wow... I wasn't thinking anywhere along those lines... Thank you, and I see, just like you mentioned, you've been posting quite a bit lately. :D

I will definitely have to make a stop in Hokitika and say g'day.

By the way, is there a petrol station and restaurant in your town? :D

there are in fact two petrol stations!!! And a supermarket. The pubs have restaurants; I'm not sure there's an actual stand-alone restaurant though. There are also no McDonalds, Burger King, Wendy's, KFC, Pizza Hut, Dominoes, Hells Pizza, Subway...... Its a good thing I don't generally eat junk food!!

But we do have a nice little aquarium with kiwi and giant eels!

Which is more than Northampton has, and the Shoe Museum only lets you look. So a win for Hokitika.

Do NZ McDonald's still sell kiwi burgers with (to a Pom!) the odd combination of beetroot and hard boiled egg?

Beetroot and a fried egg is mandatory for an Aussie Burger with the Lot.

:p
