ITV 3 part series; London Zoo

however I felt that they focused more on the happenings in London zoo than Whipsnade, anyone else. Seemed there was only one big story per episode from Whipsnade while the rest of the stories were about London.

A few Questions

When did the male Gorilla from Dublin arrive at London?
When was the baby gorilla born?

I think the greater focus on London was because there is generally more going on there as the collection isn't just hoofed stock and carnivores as it is mainly at Whipsnade.

'Kesho' arrived in London in August.
Mjuku's baby born late October (26 or 27th?)

Sorry Mr Saxon- I have edited your post instead of Quoting it- not deliberate. My apologies.

As far as i know, the king vulture parents make calls to the egg to prompt it to hatch which is why its not as simple as removing the egg and replacing it with a dummy. The Komodo eggs also have to be dug up because adult komodo dragons are well known for eating their young.

They explained about the Komodos(I think) but a sentence or two explaining why they needed to leave the Vulture's egg until it hatched would have been very helpful!
