This will be a thread dedicated to whatever's happening at Izu Shaboten. Surprised nobody made a thread for it, as it's quite famous for its capybara bath and the only marmots in Japan.

First off, does anyone recognize the agouti species that Izu Shaboten keeps? Izu Shaboten just says that they're regular agoutis with no indication of subspecies.

They have Dasyprocta azarae

Turns out Izu Shaboten Zoo now has white-faced sakis, which in Japan is extremely rare. I previously thought only Ueno, Nihondaira and JMC had them, which have 1 male each, but now here Izu Shaboten comes, keeping a male and a female.
