Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens Jacksonville Zoo Full Species List

Turns out the Warthogs are labeled as Desert Warthogs according to the zoo's site. Can anyone confirm this to be true? Considering there's a bit of a mishap identifying their North African Ostriches with an East African scientific name on the same site, I'm skeptical.

They're not. All warthogs in the US are common, not desert. When the species was split, Phacochoerus aethiopicus was attached to the desert species, with the common getting the new name of Phacochoerus africanus. This has resulted in a lot of bad signage :(
