Japanese Macaques in UK zoos?

Thats really interestin I thought longleat were the only breeding group of rhesus! Woburn do have some barbarys mixed with patas monkeys (another species you rarely see now) and some colobus monkeys. what about the vervets? Dartmoor have some. I think Shepreth and possibly on the isle of White?

Prior to the HWP, where were the last Japanese macaques kept in the UK?

If they have ever been kept in a UK collction before, I don't know where and it was certainly not within the last fifty years or more. Perhaps never?
