If it’s 24 acres, i’m saying:If it is one of the Peak polar bears, I assume it is going to be either of the male cubs - given they're approaching the age where they'd be moving on... (I would also assume the plan would be to get a female at some point).
As for the other species, I was initially going to think small and say Arctic fox and Arctic hare - however, given the 24 acres, part of me suspects a pinniped of some sort, aside from the wolf and possible polar bear.
They seem to be coming from South Lakes.Question is though when are the wolves due to arrive and where would they be arriving from ?
Right. I know other places that houses wolves but exciting times for Jimmy's Farm and Wildlife Park to have them for the first time. They seem to be coming from South Lakes.
Judging by the cover, the four species are Arctic Foxes, Arctic Wolves, Reindeers and Golden Eagles, it would seem. Not quite the Polar Bear or pinniped that we were hoping for, but it is nice to see that more than just mammals are being included.Hi All. I just noticed this whilst I was on Facebook a moment ago and it said something about ‘Big ? Rescue – A Jimmy’s Farm Story’ https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=863122848516644&set=a.322064459289155
Could the paw print on the cover be that of a polar bear ? Looks very similar to ones show when searching for one on GoogleJudging by the cover, the four species are Arctic Foxes, Arctic Wolves, Reindeers and Golden Eagles, it would seem. EDIT: Apologies for cross-posting with @DesertRhino150 ! If the Reindeer are already at the zoo, then perhaps there is still an unrevealed fourth species, and if the fact that they are waiting till last to reveal it gives me hope that it could be something exciting, but I suppose I shouldn't speculate.
Don't want to speculate too much, but between that paw print, and the fact that they are getting the fourth species from a now-closed zoo overseas (the individuals at Peak Wildlife Park came from Orsa Rovdjurspark in Sweden, which is closing down, and still has two adult females yet to have found a home), I think it is almost certain that Polar Bears are the fourth species.Could the paw print on the cover be that of a polar bear ?
