Indeed - I imagine the only reason they are a reasonably feasible option for yourself is the semi-rural location of Hamerton and subsequent relative ease of access to heavy machinery available to the farming industry?

Somewhere in the suburbs, away from wide open fields and constrained by surrounding development, would struggle to find this an option I assume.
 
Living Coasts used one for their rather excellent (IMO) black rat exhibit when they opened, but disbanded it after a couple of years. Shipping containers could be used more readily, taking into account the manoeuvrability issues that Andrew pointed out.
 
I just went on maps to figure out how large is the new area we're opening to the public......6.56 acres! I'm actually pretty chuffed with that!:D

There are a few as that includes the area given over to the macaques, but none of them are small.

I don't think I can get away with saying much more than that right now ;)
 
Just thought I’d share this.

The red area is the current wildlife park/car park/shops/ restaurant etc. The purple area are our woodlands that the guests are free to also explore.
The area with the white dots is the newly developed area we’ve been working on during lockdown and that the public will get to see for the first time on April 12th. Exciting!:D

They're 2 boys that came from our friends at Amazona Zoo. We got a single sex pair because we don't wish to breed right now, but wanted a touch of familiarity for Basil as he was kept with them at Longleat.
More new animals to be announced very soon!;)

I know this comment is a few weeks old but I'd like to say yeah, they are a nightmare to move, especially in inclement weather. I was given the task of helping to "land" one on a December evening in gale force winds at my old job, and I nearly killed the crane operator after a gust of wind caught the side of said container. To be fair, my only way of steering the container was with a bit of washing line... Oh the good old days before Health & Safety went crazy! :rolleyes::D

Yeah when we put ours in for the macaques, the weather was pretty wild! You can see it all happen on 'Autumn at Jimmy's Farm'....it got a bit bloody scary!
 
According to Facebook there is a clue on what animal is what General Manager Stevie is waiting for. So far my guess was a Zebra. Can anyone guess too ?

So now we've gone public, I'm happy to announce our new Africa section to the park. Adding 6.56 acres of space previously off limits to guests, we have "Project Macaque" where we house our two groups of rescued barbary macaques, and our most recent build...our new mixed african paddock, the housing of which was built by 'Team Building With BITE'. We've moved in 2.0 Grant's Zebras, and are waiting on more zebra and other species to join them. It's been hard work, but it's looking stunning, and as the visitors will be walking right through the middle of both macaque and the hoofstock enclosure, it should hopefully immerse people right in the action.:D
