On May 13th, the zoo announced they had opened the renovated wallaby exhibit to the public. Renovations include a retaining wall, a new indoor space that is 3x bigger than the previous space, and a bio-floor installed in the indoor space. The zoo also announced that (0.0.2) wallabies (species not specified) were born.

On June 30th, the zoo announced they have acquired a (1.0) domestic cow (breed not specified, though it's stated it's a new breed for the zoo) from 2 Men & A Hen farm in Michigan. The cow was born on June 21st and will be in the Red's Hobby Farm sometime in the summer.

On July 6th, the zoo announced that due to minimizing cases of avian influenza, some more of their bird species have returned on exhibit, those being their snowy owls, barn owls, and budgies. They also announced that the Asian aviary has reopened, and birds like flamingos will return in the next couple of weeks.
