I don't get it.
Canada geese are the spawn of Satan himself!
But how is it a gentleman's armchair?
That's probably the webcomic it came from.
Oh right. I googled it and The Gentleman's Armchair is indeed the name of the comic series. It was kind of a confusing post for me.
Tell me about it... Where I live at the moment, they're everywhere and cause mayhem!
Everyone around me hates them, I think they're fine.
They're a bloody nuisance on most bodies of water by me, and because people feed them they're not afraid of anyone. They're not afraid of dogs either!
I don't think the Geese in Toronto would be afraid of a Tiger, let alone a dog! Like Gerenuk said, they're everywhere and are definitely causing mayhem (although it makes for some funny videos

If you're feeling down, you can just watch videos of geese harassing people. Good rainy day activity.
Methinks this thread has taken a distinct turn from the original intention - whereas before it genuinely was jokes only a Zoochatter would understand, now it consists mostly of general animal memes and puns 
so I think it is time to aim for a little of the former once again with the following......

I don't understand why people have created multiple different meme and joke threads. It seems pretty unnecessary to me.
