Jokes Only a Zoochatter Would Understand

I love his writing style, really funny in places. Just a few times where his allegory is not quite allegorical enough for me. ;)

Too much a christian fundamentalist for me to enjoy I'm afraid though I did read one of his books that had some really interesting philosophy within it and critiques of the modern world (well what was modern in the 40's / 50's I suppose).

Using the "ok, ok" and "sign (language)" clues of Tetzoo Quizzer, I figured out that it is a reference to Koko the gorilla who died on 19 June 2018 (the news articles about it all date from 21 June 2018). Very few people would know those dates by heart, so I guess a "real Zoochatter" is just someone with Google. But now anyone who reads this post can be a real Zoochatter.
This made me spill my water! :p

Or even "would it be possible for me to see the zoo in one day?".

If you went to the zoo from the moment it opened, and left the moment it closed, I bet you could do it. On my last trip, it took me just about five hours to see everything except for half of Lost Forest, Outback, and Urban Jungle. If I stayed there for a few more hours, I might've been able to see the rest, with plenty of time for breaks in between.

I'm not sure about the Safari Park though, as it's way bigger and might be somewhat of a stretch.

The safari park is mostly done on vehicle rides though. My problem with seeing the zoo is that I tend to spend excessive amounts of time at aviaries.
