Happy Summer to you all! Currently on my way to San Diego to do a complete top to down photo shoot of the new exhibits: Hummingbird Habitat and Komodo Kingdom! Although a bit sleep deprived from work, our very own @Arizona Docent reminded me so thank you :D Here are the rules as before:

1. 4 entries per month.
2. They can upload photos that can be found in the regular gallery if they’d like to.
3. Photos don’t have to necessarily have to be from the month aforementioned in the title although it can take some time to develop photos.
4. It must be photos we consider our best work meaning not blurry or potentially boring such as an animal butt as said before.
5. To have the photos be of different subjects per month although they can be of the same subject the following month as long as all the entries for the month aren’t of the same one. Example such as 4 entries of the same specie.
6. Photos aren’t strictly limited to zoological gardens. They can be from sanctuaries, aquariums, nature reserves, etc.
7. Do try your best to add where they were taken either in the description or by adding tags.

Happy shooting to my fellow Zoochatters and will make my first post to the album from what I photograph today so keep your eyes peeled and ready

Look forward to your entries (as always). Next week I am doing a private photo tour at Cat Haven, so hope to have baby clouded leopard and perhaps some other felines to add. (Also a black bear from Sequoia National Park if we are lucky).

That’s so awesome and I bet you’re going to blow it out of the water especially with clouded leopards :p I can’t possibly compete with adorable and cunning felines :D

Right now I'm in the middle of a road trip touring the five National Parks in Utah, the Grand Staircase-Escalante Nat'l Monument, and North Rim Grand Canyon. I've captured a few wildlife shots that may work l, but won't know until I get home and view them on my 27" monitor later this month.

Can’t wait to see the natural beauties you extracted! ;)
