Having been to Jungle Cat World myself, the exhibit in question is located at the entrance. The view your post @TZFan looks to be prior to the creation of that exhibit.
That being said. I don't particularly remember the specifics, but I never felt that the Lions, or Amur Tigers, which have been in that exhibit before the Lions, where capable of breaking out of the exhibit. The fences were high and sturdy. I also remember it being a double barrier. So you'd have to climb over and fence to reach the enclosure fence.

On August 9th, the zoo announced that (0.0.2) domestic goats (breed not specified) were born.

On June 17th, the zoo announced they acquired a (1.0) Patagonian cavy named Duke.

On July 12th, the zoo announced that they moved (0.0.2) red foxes named Amber and Ruby into a new exhibit.

On December 9th, the zoo announced that they acquired a (1.0) African (white) lion named Maleiko in late 2022 which is on exhibit.
Also on December 9th, the zoo announced they acquired a (0.0.1) cougar named Cheyenne which is now on exhibit.

On April 1st, the zoo announced that a (0.0.1) ring-tailed lemur named Rhythm was born.

Probably a private breeder, there are many private keepers of exotic animals in Ontario or in Canada. I think they are waiting the last male at their facility to die before purchasing a new one.
I would assume that as well, from my knowledge they’re also trying to acquire two Leopards from Africa (?), I presume a breeding pair.
They also recently Acquired:
Two fennec foxes acquired, 1M 1F, acquired late August
(0.1) Tiger cub named “Contessa” acquired in July.
And 4 wolf pups born from their two “Arctic Wolf” pairings, currently all four are used for behind the scenes.
